Hi there, I'm Clara Chitsaz, a 22-year-old juggling two jobs. On May 14, I was in a severe car accident that resulted in a concussion and memory loss. Currently, I'm on medical leave, awaiting clearance from my doctor to return to work. I'm incredibly grateful to have survived this near-death experience, which has been both harrowing and transformative. Thankfully, I was the only one in the car, sparing others from harm. The aftermath, however, has been challenging, with a concussion the daily symptoms like nausea, dizziness, and migraines. As the saying goes, 'Don't look at the whole staircase, just the first step.' That's the approach I'm taking—one day at a time.
