Support Claire's Cancer Treatment

On April 27, 2022 our family received heartbreaking news that no one wants to get. Our precious little girl Claire, my niece, who is only seven years old, has an inoperable tumor in the middle of her brain. She was admitted to Children's Hospital. On April 29, 2022, the neurosurgeon took a biopsy of it and created a drainage hole for built-up spinal fluid that was causing consistent, excruciating headaches. 

Almost two weeks later we received more devastating news. The tumor is Pineoblastoma. It's very rare and it is cancer.

Claire was admitted to Children's again due to spinal fluid leakage May 13th. She then underwent surgery for over 9 hours to try and remove as much of it as possible yesterday, May 16th. The team of doctors had no choice but to operate and this was the first step of many to come in Claire's long battle to beat cancer. The neurosurgeon didn't get as much as we hoped due to bleeding complications but we are thankful for what they did get out. 

Together, we can make a difference and help Claire in her fight for wellness. I have created this fundraiser to help with the burden of mounting medical expenses and time off work for Claire's parents, my brother Kenny Wilson and my sister-in-law April Rinks-Wilson. Every donation counts, even if it's only $5, and all donations will go to help Claire kick cancer's butt.
