Hello family, friends, and all those who are reading this. We would love (and need) your prayers and support. This morning (1/13) Claire Thommes suffered a stroke while in Mexico and is in critical condition.

We are in a critical time frame and are praying for a miraculous recovery! We need help with funds to support critical care and transport her back to the US as soon as she is medically stable. Unfortunately, in Mexico all medical fees are paid up front, and they don’t have funds to cover all the cost.

John and Claire Thommes have been living in Baja area of Mexico. This morning started as normal morning. They started the day getting up with the sun to spread the gospel by serving the local community with coffee and treats. Things turned critical fast when Claire started to feel unwell and was transported to a hospital in Cabo San Lucas. We believe she had the stroke before or on the way to the hospital. She has had treatment and is now being transported to a different hospital for continuing critical care. They are blessed to have friends there in Mexico who are helping them and supporting as they walk through this. Care at the hospital in Mexico is not very clear. At this point they are waiting for Claire to stabilize and then they need wisdom of how to get back to the United States as soon as possible.
