Support Claire Cassidy through a tough time

Hi, friends,

This is a hard thing to ask for, but it’s time for me to reach out. I’m currently acting as the primary caregiver to my mother, who will likely pass in the next few weeks, maybe months. This is putting a strain on my reserves, both financial and emotional, and so I’m asking for help. I have plenty of emotional support, but I could really use financial help.

I can’t work while acting as my mother’s caregiver, and I need money for food, transportation, medication, etc. I expect to be here for at least another week and a half, though it’s hard to come up with an exact timeframe.

At this time I’m only fundraising to meet my own needs and some medication for my mother, not for further in-home care or end-of-life costs, but I may need to do that in the future as the situation progresses.
