Claire Brianz's needs Support While in a Refugee Camp

Hello, this is Alicia Langlais, A.K.A. Alicia the Dance Dragon Slayer.

I started this GoFundMe on behalf of trans advocate and activist Claire. She is currently residing in a refugee camp and was the founder of Refugees in Color, a grassroots collective supporting LGBTQ members in Kakuma Camp.

Claire is originally from Uganda but was forced to flee due to anti-LGBTQ laws and the dangers of imprisonment and homophobic attacks.

Since 2021, I have been supporting Claire and other members of the camp through Diaspora Dance classes. These funds have primarily been used for food, medical care, and essential living needs, as employment for refugees remains extremely difficult to secure.

Right now, Claire is in urgent need of support to survive the harsh conditions she is facing in the camp. While she continues the process of seeking safety and resettlement in a third country, everything has been put on hold.

She needs our help to make it through this critical time.
