Citroen is currently fighting a legal battle with our landlord over property neglect that has caused us to suffer and sustain damages to our business without any compensation from our landlord.

On July 2 2023, our kitchen suffered significant damage when the property owner's neglected roof partially gave way during a torrential downpour.

This event completely flooded all of our cooking equipment, forcing us to close for several days to repair the damages at our own cost.

In January 2023, an improperly installed boiler steam valve had eroded away our kitchen floor and grease trap.

We absorbed the cost with no compensation from the landlord. The problem arose again and has persisted for 18 months with no action from the landlord. There is now an actual hole in our floor looking into the basement, causing a structural integrity issue that they refuse to take responsibility for.

The summer months are upon us and with the G train suspension, it's put Citroën in a difficult position to get through this trying time.

Having to absorb building maintenance costs that are not our responsibility has greatly wounded us.

Anyone who knows us is aware of the effort brought forth by the landlord to force us to vacate.

We have suffered years of harrassment and it's finally come to the point where we need to legally hold the property owner accountable.

We are asking our friends and neighbors to help us with legal fees to recoup all we have lost and help us continue serving our community.
