Hi! My name is Citrine. So, what’s up? Last summer, in 2024, the Women’s National Deaf Volleyball Team competed in the Volleyball World Championships in Okinawa, Japan. It was an incredible experience playing there, and we earned 2nd place, which means we automatically qualified for the Deaflympics coming up this November 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.

Going to the Deaflympics has been one of my biggest dreams. I fell in love with volleyball growing up, always playing — it’s one of my favorite sports. Currently, I’m on the Gallaudet volleyball team, and this fall will be my senior/last season, which is bittersweet because time flies so fast.

Once in Tokyo, our goal is to win the gold medal, and this wouldn’t be possible without your support.
