Hi! My name is Citlali Segura and I am an undergraduate student at Michigan State University majoring Animal Science. Currently, I have the opportunity to study abroad in South Africa and work alongside veterinarians. The program is called Rhino Conservation and Rehabilitation. It is a 2-week trip where I will be monitoring rhinos, feeding, and more alongside daily lectures. This opportunity will not only benefit me in my passion for animals and veterinary experience but will also benefit rhinos who have been poached or are in danger of being poached.
