About Cissie
Our beloved family member, Cissie, is preparing for a life-saving LVAD heart surgery. After many appointments and tests, we recently received encouraging news: her MRI showed only a minor gallstone, with nothing severe enough to delay her heart procedure. Her vitals are strong and stable, her scans are moving forward smoothly, and her medical team is now finalizing the surgical plan. While we are incredibly grateful for this progress, we also know the road ahead will be a hard and demanding one. Doctors have prepared us for a rigorous 6-month recovery period, and Cissie will need time, care, and strength to heal.

Right now, Cissie has no income while hospitalized and recovering, and the day-to-day needs are quickly adding up.
