Oct 2nd Cisco went into the hospital with severe anemia (5.3 level), fatigue, rapid heart rate and light headedness. After multiple tests they found colon cancer. Oct 9th he had a Colostomy where they removed a foot of colon. We spend 10 days in the hospital. Oct 24th we had our follow up where we were told he had stage 3 colon cancer. Oct 30th he had a chest port surgery where they implanted a port internally to administer chemo. Cisco starts chemo therapy on November 13th. He will have 12 rounds every 2 weeks which will end on April 16th. We just had a PET scan on Nov 8th to determine if the cancer had spread anywhere else in his body. As his wife and our daughter’s mother I am asking for help. Our out of pocket yearly is 8k which will start all over Jan 1st not allowing us no breathing room bill wise. I am not sure of what we are about to experience or go through, but so far it doesn’t look promising as we have already ran through our saving and 401K loans.
