Support Circuit Skillbuilder's Debate Scholarship Program

We’re Circuit Skillbuilder, a student-led nonprofit organization* working to break down barriers in high school National Circuit debate.

Let’s face it: high-level debate is expensive. Between travel tournaments, coaching, camps, and time tradeoffs, the costs can push talented students out of the activity before they’ve even had a chance. Too often, under-resourced debaters are left without support, priced out of progress, and unable to reach their potential—while the same well-funded schools dominate year after year.

This is where we aim to help. This GoFundMe will fund scholarships of $1000 each for debaters who need financial assistance attending national tournaments, buying essential debate resources like coaching, or enrolling in summer camps. 100% of funds will go directly to students. We aim to raise $10,000, which will allow us to support 10 underfunded debaters on their journey. While we already provide certain resources, offering direct financial aid will help remove the most daunting barrier: cost.
