My wife Cindy has been in the ICU at Monument Health for the past three weeks, fighting a severe case of pneumonia. This has been an incredibly difficult time for us, as we both work for Rapid City Area Schools as a school custodian and paraeducator and are struggling to manage the overwhelming costs of her care. The uncertainty and stress of her illness have made it hard to focus on anything else, and we are doing everything we can to support her recovery.
