In memory of Cindy, support her beloved charity

My name is Phil and my beloved wife Cindy passed October 7, 2025 after an amazing 4 year fight with cancer. She was my world and my hero, and I had been racking my brain trying to figure out how to honor her memory in the most profound way possible as our family works through this very rough transition. In the past many years, her and I, along with a few other friends have worked together to offer what monetary support we could each month to a cause that all of us were passionate about. You see, Cindy is originally from Saigon, Vietnam, born in the midst of the war. She immigrated to the U.S. at age 20 and now, even at age 55 at her passing, never forgot her roots and all that she experienced during and after the war at the hands of the new government there. Social support for children, especially those with special needs, has always been a big problem and still is today. We have found a way to connect with a couple of special orphanages there. We understand that they receive no government support but at the same time never turn away a child needing a home. Sometimes children are even left on their doorsteps (yes....still happens in 2025). The Vietnamese are an extremely proud yet humble and gracious culture, always fiercely protecting family, especially children. I have come to learn that they are a culture that never complains and always find a way to make do with what they have. The support we could send these small orphanages was a big deal. So, the hope of this effort is to give them a single gift in Cindy's name that really makes a huge dent and solidifies her memory. Regardless of what we will eventually be able to do, she is still part of their family and always will be due to Cindy's loving and caring nature.

Cindy is in Heaven now, but I know that she is smiling at all who are reading this and considering helping. All of this is in lieu of flowers or such that folks would normally be graciously offering as a token of their support . Thanks so much for reading and considering!
Please......scroll through the photos to see some recent pics of the kids we are helping. They are very real and the beauty of this is every single cent goes directly to them.....no stupid fundraising cuts taken by anyone.
