Hi, my name is Cindy Pierce. I find myself having to use GoFundMe to ask for money as my circumstances in life have taken a drastic turn. I relocated to Florida to work for a company a year and a half ago. On August 26, my gallbladder erupted, Acute Gangrenous Cholecystitis. I was in the hospital for 5 days. I had tried to go back in to work immediately after on Dec 2 but I left within hours as it was very painful. I was subsequently out for 3 weeks.

When they went in to remove it, they discovered I had Stage 1 Renal Cell Carcinoma. I let my company know that I had surgery scheduled. I continued to work until October 14, when they laid me off.

I started another job on Dec 1, for considerably less money. I went through most of my savings, cannot afford the rent on the place I am living in, and I can't move due to my upcoming surgery.

Medical bills, insurance copays, and rent are enormous.

I have filed for social security disability, but the process is slow.

Any help would be appreciated. I will pay this forward when I am on my feet again.
