Hello! My name is Mandy, and my mom, Cindy, was recently diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, which is a rare blood cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. She’ll be at Mass General for a few more weeks then Hope Lodge for recovery after her Bone Marrow Transplant and most likely won’t be home until March.

Our family lives in Maine, and Dad drives 108 miles each way to the hospital to be there with Mom. The travel expenses, which include gas, food, tolls, lodging, and parking fees for our family to be together, are not something we expected, nor can we afford; it would mean so much to my Mom and Dad if we could all be together during the holidays.
