My name is Bobbi Sue & I am creating this GoFundMe for my friend of 30 plus years, Cindy Martin. Cindy is a former oncology and hospice nurse who had to leave her career due to health problems. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Melanoma in June. This type of cancer is very rare & our local hospitals are not able to treat her, so she is traveling back & forth from Kalamazoo to Ann Arbor frequently for treatment at U of M.

These funds will help cover gas, food & lodging during her treatment to beat this cancer. Her treatment will involve surgery first this week. The rest of her treatment is to be determined but will most likely involve Radiation Therapy, Immunotherapy, or Chemotherapy & more surgery.
