Hello South Tahoe Community and beyond! We have a neighbor who is really in need of some generous hearts. Cindy Beberg is a 40 year resident of SLT. A former ski and swim coach. A single lady in her 60s, still working two jobs to pay the bills and get by in these expensive times. She works at both TJ Maxx at the Y and Kahle Community Center at the front desk. All was fine until….

Ten days ago, as Cindy was working at the front desk at Kahle, she tripped on some loose cords that resulted in two serious injuries. A broken humerus of her dominant arm as well as a fractured knee.

Cindy is extremely worried about paying her bills during this long recovery because while she is on disability, she will be taking a 1/3 pay cut. She was already just getting by working two jobs.

If anyone can help in any small way, she would be so appreciative. The last thing she needs is financial worries while she is trying to cope and heal. As hard is she has been working during a time when most of us are enjoying retirement, she deserves a little help from the community she has been serving.
