Support Cindy and The Nicholas Family

To the beautiful family, friends and community of Cindy, Bob, Carly, Katie and Ryan Nicholas.

We are writing to share the unimaginable events that have occurred in the past few days and to ask for your love, prayers and support during this difficult time.

My dearest friend Cindy was diagnosed with very aggressive Triple Negative Breast Cancer in November of 2018. For those of you that know her, she is beautiful, smart, cheerful, loving, funny, unbelievably strong, and always puts all of her loved ones before herself. Cindy had a lumpectomy surgery in January 2019 and started chemo soon after. She finished her last round of chemo that June. Then radiation started ending at the end of August 2019.

We were very hopeful that after all the treatment our sweet Cindy went through that she would stay in remission. Sadly last week due to head and back pain she was checked into the hospital to run tests and we found out that our beautiful girl has cancer which has spread to her cerebrospinal fluid. This liquid circulates nutrients and chemicals to the brain and spinal cord and is much more aggressive than before. The cancer is in her brain, and back. We are waiting for results from a biopsy that was taken today in her lymph node.

Cindy is married to her best friend Bob (one of the nicest, funniest guys ever!) She is also the most loving mother of three amazing children, Carly (25), Katie (23) and Ryan (18). All three are exceptional humans (like their parents) full of kindness and love.

We are asking for support to help insure that these new medical bills can be paid without any worry.

We would love their awesome children (who are all living outside of San Diego) to be able to travel home to be with their mama and not be concerned with their expenses. What a blessing for this beautiful family to enjoy their time, stress free of any financial burdens.
