Hi everyone - I'm starting this fundraiser for my sister-in-law Cindy and her husband, my brother-in-law Roger.

Cindy was recently diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, and is facing a very difficult surgery with a poor prognosis. Without it, doctors have told her she may only have about 1-2 months to live. It's been devastating news for the family, and everything has happened very quickly.

Because of the surgery and treatment, Cindy will have to leave her job which means losing her health insurance after 12 weeks. At the same time, medical bills are already adding up. Roger has also had to take time off work to care for her and be by her side.

We're hoping to raise money to help ease some of the financial stress - medical expenses, insurance gaps, and basic living costs - so Cindy and Roger can focus on her surgery, recovery, and being together with their two sons, one of whom is in the military and is flying home to spend time with his mother.
