This is to help my stepsister , Cindy and

her husband, Mike Scott.

A week or so before Thanksgiving, disaster struck her family. Her (at the time 45 year old) daughter, Raechel, became very disoriented and confused. At the hospital, the doctors discovered a large mass on her brain. After a biopsy, they found she had Glioblastoma, the most aggressive brain cancer, and it was inoperable and untreatable.

Once she was stable enough , she was moved to hospice. She had her 46 birthday Saturday, December 6 there, and was barely conscious. It was such an extremely sad situation.

She passed Monday, December 8.

Cindy works non-stop. Her husband, Mike, is disabled and in a wheelchair. Yet they are both always ready to help, family or not.

I'm praying that kind hearted people can help her make this easier financially. There's no way to make it easier... no parent should ever have to go through this.

The big obstacle at this point is taking care of the final arrangements. Raechel was not financially prepared for this. Neither are her parents . Again, a parent should not have to go through this. Everyone is heartbroken, I can't even imagine what Cindy and Mike are going through.
