Support Cindi After Bill's Sudden Passing

Tragically, over the weekend, Bill had a massive heart attack, and after restarting his heart six times, he passed sadly away.

Many of you have been blessed to meet or cross paths with Cindi and Bill. This couple would give you the shirt off their back and the last dollar in their pocket. Bill was recovering from hip surgery and had been doing quite well. With him unable to work, they were using their savings to keep things afloat until he could go back to work. As many of us do, they lived paycheck to paycheck.

Our friend Cindi has to now navigate life without Bill and maintain a roof over her and Lucy's head. Some of you know that she suffers from chronic pain and relied on Bill’s support. With his death, his social security is her only source of “income”, as hers has stopped.

Not only is she faced with cremation services for her husband, she is now trying to figure out how to keep a roof over her head as her funds are super limited month to month.

Her son Jason was able to adjust most of her expenses to make things easier for Cindi. However, it looks like she is going to be short between $200 and $300 a month.

This fundraiser is to help make up the difference for as long as possible, so she does not lose her and Lucy's home or have to rehome Lucy. Or if needed, go towards a more affordable home. The last thing we’d want to see is her losing Lucy too.

To know her and Bill has been such a blessing. They are like family to us, as they might be to you too. This is such a tragic loss, especially this time of year when we should be happy and celebrating those we love. As her friends and community, we ask for your help in making life just a tad bit easier for her.
