Support Cierra's Medical Mission in New York
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cierra Jarmon, and I’m excited to share that I’ve officially matched into my medical residency program in New York City at Cornell University, which is a lifelong dream now becoming reality! I’m a proud young doctor who lives in Chicago, and I’m deeply committed to serving communities of color and addressing health disparities that continue to impact us every day.
But I’m reaching out because I need your help…
I was given only TWO weeks to relocate to New York. That means finding housing in one of the most expensive cities in the country, securing a moving truck, covering transportation costs, and paying for professional licensing fees, all while preparing to start one of the most demanding chapters of my life.
I’ve taken on tremendous educational debt to get here just like many other first generation physicians. Unfortunately, relocation costs are not covered by my program. My goal is to raise $5,000 to cover needed moving expenses, including:
- First month’s rent & security deposit
- Moving and travel costs from Chicago to New York City
- Licensing and hospital onboarding fees
- Basic living essentials
This is more than just a move, this is the beginning of a lifelong mission to uplift, heal, and advocate for marginalized communities in medicine. Your support will not only help me get to New York, it will help me serve others who need it most.
Every donation, share, and word of encouragement means more than you know. I am truly grateful for your belief in me.
With sincere thanks,
Dr. Cierra Jarmon
