My name is Marissa. My family and I have been going through a struggle since COVID that still hasn't really let up. During COVID, we lost every single thing we owned and were living in hotels. It was myself, my husband, and two kids. We finally found somewhere that ended up being a complete disaster. We have been here for a total of 2 years and moved amongst different apartments within the building to maintain. The cause was a red tag on our furnace that our landlord neglected to fix. An unknowing red tag on our furnace and issues throughout the building regarding leaks have caused immense headaches and have denied us the ability to be comfortable and save up to move to a better household.

We are moving by the grace of God but are running short due to majority funds being used for daily needs like water. We have tried to manage for as long as possible with what we have, but funds started to diminish during our saving process. Now, we are short and due to move in a few short days.
