Support Ciema's Life-Saving Ear Surgery

Hi, my name is Moriah, and I’m raising funds for my beloved cat, Ciema.

Ciema has been with me since I was very young—he’s truly my world. He’s been my companion through every stage of life, and I’m not ready to say goodbye. Neither is he.

Despite being older, Ciema is in amazing health. He still cuddles, purrs, and shows his love every day, even while dealing with something incredibly painful: a chronic ear infection that we’ve been battling for over six months.

We’ve tried every treatment—multiple rounds of antibiotics, ear drops, vet visits—but nothing has worked long-term. Recently, the medications stopped working altogether, and Ciema is starting to show that he’s in pain. It breaks my heart to see him suffer when he’s otherwise so full of life.

Our vet has recommended a lateral ear resection, a trusted and safe surgical procedure that would remove the damaged part of his ear and create a new opening for hearing. It’s not just cosmetic—it would stop the infection for good and relieve his constant pain.

The vet is confident this surgery would significantly improve Ciema’s quality of life and give us more time together. But it’s expensive with surgery, anesthesia, aftercare, and medication. Unfortunately, this is our last option. We’ve tried everything else. If we can’t do the surgery soon, we’ll have to start thinking about the difficult question of his long-term comfort.
