Hi, i'm Bex, one of ciara's grad school friends~ i'm organizing this on Ciara's behalf because Ciara is going through a lot of major life changes and has a lot on her plate right now. Due to racial discrimination, she is leaving the UGA PhD program and needs to move out of Athens. She has been working two jobs all summer in order to save up for a deposit and first month's rent for a place in Atlanta. While she's excited to finally move to ATL, she needs some community support for this transition.

Through starting Peach City Sapphics, Ciara has poured so much of herself into organizing spaces and events for queer people to meet, have fun, volunteer and build community together. After devoting a lot of time to cultivating community, it's time for the community to show her some love~if you're in a financial position to help, please consider contributing to support her during this stressful time.
