My name is Pamela Newton, and I represent a group of close friends who are raising money to help our colleague and dear friend Cian Woods. Cian has unexpectedly suffered a major health emergency. His ability to work is compromised; we do not know for how long, and his employer-provided health care expires on Feb. 1, 2025.

Cian’s recent relocation to Asheville, NC, means that he is far from his Napa support network. His family is gathering to assist him with his medical care and the decisions that will need to be made on his behalf. The future is uncertain, but the medical bills aren’t.
