Support Chuck's Fight for Life and Recovery

Hey Everyone-
I've got a friend, who is also a friend to many of you reading this, that could really use some help right now. Charles Cook, known as "Chuck" to most, "Charlie" to those of us who have known him for a really long time, is currently in the hospital fighting for his life. On Wednesday, November 6th, Chuck was taken to the Emergency Room at Troy Beaumont hospital after being sick in bed at home for several days. He was initially reluctant to seek medical attention largely due to the fact that he had been out of work for several months, and did not have health insurance. By the time he finally got to the hospital, he was in very rough shape. He suffered a major seizure and went into cardiac arrest within hours of being checked into the ER. Doctors were able to revive and stabilize him, and he spent the next week in the Intensive Care Unit where things seemed pretty hopeless at times. Miraculously, he pulled through and was transferred to a regular room where he is currently fighting to stay alive and hopefully make a strong recovery. He has a very long road ahead of him though. His main health issue is that he has liver failure, and he is in need of a liver transplant for any hope of long term survival. It's very scary, and very serious.
Chuck is like a little brother to me. We grew up basically next door to each other since I was about 8 or so years old, and have remained good friends throughout the years. Chuck is truly one of the best people that I have ever known, and I know that many other people feel the same way about him. He has a ton of friends, a loving wife, a loyal dog and a good sized family, all of whom love him very much. Chuck is a kind hearted and generous person who has always done everything he can to help other people out. He is one of the most dedicated and hard working people that I have ever met. If you're reading this and you live in Southeast Michigan, there's a good chance that he has helped you or someone you know out with some sort of construction project, landscaping, snowplowing, tree cutting, etc., etc... Chuck is a true "man's man" who would literally give you the shirt off his back. He's a great guy to spend time with just hanging out as well, and I pray to God that he'll still be around for many years to come.
I started this GoFundMe because Chuck and his wife, Rose, could really use some help financially. Bills were already piling up on them prior to this hospitalization due to Chuck being out of work since April when he had his first seizure and spent 6 nights in the hospital. By law, he could not drive for 6 months because he had a documented seizure, therefore he has been unable to work. Rose has also been out of work for several months due to health issues of her own, and she is scheduled for a surgery next month. Chuck's health insurance coverage does not begin until December 1st, and I fear that he will be dealing with some insane medical bills. He has been at Troy Beaumont hospital for almost 3 weeks now, and he will not be getting discharged anytime soon. He has made some promising improvement, but is no way out of the woods. He needs to survive another 6 months before being put on a waiting list to receive a liver transplant. The wait could take quite some time, and the whole surgery and recovery process won't be easy either. He is up against a lot, but I pray he can make a recovery and live a full life. It will be a major struggle for this to happen though. If you are able to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated and would be super helpful to some very good people going through a very difficult time. Any amount would help. No donation is too big or too small. I hope that this fundraiser can relieve some of the financial stress, and help Chuck focus more on his health and recovery. Please say a prayer for Chuck, if you pray, donate if you are able to, and share this post if you'd like. Whether you know him, or not, this is a good cause that would really help some deserving people who are going through an extremely difficult time.
Thanks
