Dear Family, Neighbors, and Friends,

In the early morning of July 5th, a devastating fire completely destroyed my uncle Chuck's home, leaving it condemned and reducing everything they owned to ashes. Miraculously, everyone made it out safely – Chuck, his fiancé, their two daughters (ages 10 and 11), their 4-year-old dog, and their two rescue cats – thanks to his amazing neighbor who vigorously alerted and woke them up and the heroic efforts of the HB firefighters. While we are incredibly grateful no one lost their life, my Uncle Chuck and his family escaped with only their pajamas and have lost not only their home but all their belongings, including their vehicle.

Chuck would never reach out or ask for help himself, so we are reaching out to our community for support during this challenging time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to helping Chuck and his family cover immediate needs such as temporary housing, clothing, food, and eventually, the process of rebuilding their home.
