Chuck has always been an active person, living life to the fullest and supporting his family every step of the way. In December 2025, everything changed when he had to have a toe amputated, forcing him to take time off work until mid-February. Just as he was getting back on his feet, Chuck experienced sudden tongue swelling that sent him to the ER. After a series of tests and a biopsy, he received the difficult diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue.

This diagnosis means Chuck will be facing a long road ahead, including treatments and recovery that will keep him out of work for at least nine months. The financial strain of mounting medical bills and everyday living expenses is overwhelming for Chuck and his family. They are doing their best to stay strong, but the challenges are significant.
