Hello! My name is Jen and I met Chuck and his lovely wife Norma when I opened my small business in 2022. From the moment they first walked through the door I felt as if we'd known each other for years. If you've ever met Chuck then you know he tells even the most traumatic stories that happened to him with a smile. He finds the good in everything even when he's feeling at his worst. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade right? Well, Chuck pretty much drives a tanker filled with lemonade, he just refuses to let things bring him down.
I want to help Chuck and his family, but this year has been tough for small businesses and I don't have much to give so I asked his permission if I could set up a GoFundMe. I know there are people out there who have the means to help, and GoFundMe helped me when I was in a hard place several years ago. Here's a little bit of Chuck's story, and I hope that if you find a connection with him, or just feel the need to help that you would donate a few dollars to his cause. He has not been able to help support his household for years and all donations will go towards the piles of bills that have been overwhelming his small family.
Two years ago, Chuck told his story in a video from Moffitt Cancer Center. Hear from him directly on his struggles, his successes and his life:
About Chuck:
Chuck has lived a daring life in the fast lane, enjoying a career as a Motocross racer in the 80s and Rodeo Cowboy in the 90s, all while adopting three kids and raising four.

In 2015 he was diagnosed with bone and blood cancer, and after years of treatments was told there was no hope. It was now 2017, he was down to 90lbs and experienced an NDE (Near Death Experience) for over an hour.

With an uncertain life expectation, Chuck turned back to RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) as a part of his treatment and maintained his health for another few years until doctors discovered a brain tumor the size of a coconut in January 2023. Because of the tumor's size and where it's pushing against his brain, he suffers with symptoms of Parkinson's Disease and Dementia.

Chuck has always been a helper and a healer, volunteering for the Parkinson's Disease Foundation last summer and hoping to feel better again soon so he can be a part of the foundation again.
There is so much more to Chuck's life and story, but I hope this provides an overview on what kind of battle Chuck has been fighting for so many years. He deserves to have a little of the weight lifted off his and his wife's shoulders, and your contributions will help with just that. Thank you for being here and thank you for donating to this deserving family.
