Support Chuck Jurries' Medical Journey

This is not the first GoFundMe we've established for Chuck Jurries, however, the post-kidney transplant road has been anything but smooth for him and he could use some help. He continues to experience significant medical expenses and only was just cleared to return to work full time this month.

Back story: on March 28, 2023, Charles "Chuck" Jurries received a new kidney via a paired exchange transplant (thank you always, Andy Jipping!!). Two weeks in, however, Chuck developed some troubling symptoms and was diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis with Nephrotic Syndrome, a rare (only 7 in a million people have this) autoimmune disease which attacks the kidney's filters. This is what destroyed his native kidneys. FSGS is not curable, but is treated with ace inhibitors, steroids, immunosuppressive drugs, and plasmapheresis. He has blood work done every two weeks, and this is usually followed by the tweaking/addition/removal of his medications (he currently has 23 prescriptions!!!), additional appointments, and diagnoses.
