My name is Analiz, and I am setting up a GoFundMe account for my friend, Chrisy Donaldson Morse, who suddenly and unexpectedly lost her husband, Scott Morse, on 01/05/2025.

Scott was literally Chrisy’s everything: her rock, her comfort, her support. He was also the family’s financial support. As you can only begin to imagine, Chrisy has a lot going on. There are a ton of expenses that need to be covered. There is no life insurance policy.

The family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern, and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral or the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.
