Support Christy's Country Feed Store Recovery

Like most of Tallahassee, Country Feed Store on Highway 20 sustained damage last Friday, 5/10/2024. Christy Phillips' customers and community have watched this almost 40-year-old business adapt and overcome again and again. In Christy's words, "Evolve, power through, and evolve again." Despite the many faces and changes, a few things have remained constant. Her passion and leadership for her community, her generous heart, her undying sense of humor, a passion for agriculture education, love for her customers, determination to keep Highway 20 business alive, and her strength to overcome.

Not only is this her (and her husband Rik's) livelihood, it is also their home. She lost thousands of dollars in lost business, refunds for planned field trips/tours/and learning sessions on the educational site, closing this revenue source indefinitely until it is safe and repaired, product in her feed barn, and projected repairs and tree work.

She is not one to ask for help. She will look you dead in the eye and say "we are very blessed and the store is open" or start a drive for someone worse off every single time. I'm asking our awesome community to help ease the burden for this small business and show them some love.

Please, please, I’m asking those who have a heart as big as Christy’s, let’s support her in helping, as she has each one of us in one way or another!
