Hello! I am one of Christy's friends, Laurie. Christy is currently fighting cancer in her left kidney, as well as a rare condition, Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis (XGP), in her right kidney. Due to decreased or non-existent functioning in her right kidney, her doctors are making a plan that best supports her recovery.

I have created this to help the Becker family as they face out-of-pocket medical expenses, including travel outside of the area, and more missed work. She has been missing work due to multiple medical tests, procedures, and unexpected hospital stays. She is out of PTO, so each day she is unable to work is putting strain on their budget.
