A Heartfelt Plea for Help

Our dearest friend, Christy Johnston, her significant other, Todd, Christy’s daughter, Jackie and her Mama are facing an unimaginable tragedy. Christy’s beloved and only son, Christian, was tragically killed in a head-on collision. He was just 26 years old and would have turned 27 next month. He was on his way from Minneapolis to visit his girlfriend in Marshalltown when his life was suddenly and unfairly taken.

Christian’s loss has left a gaping hole in the hearts of his mother Christy, Tood and his sister Jackie—who has now lost her only sibling—and his grandmother, who adored him beyond words.

Christy is self-employed and now, on top of the heartbreak, she faces financial hardship during this devastating time. With no income coming in, we are reaching out to ask for your help.
