Dear family, and friends,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for Christopher Martinez, who was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Thursday, May 29th. Christopher is currently hospitalized in critical condition, facing a long and uncertain road to recovery after sustaining multiple serious injuries.
He has already undergone two major surgeries, and has so much recovery ahead. The days ahead are crucial, and we are leaning on our faith in God and the power of prayer as we wait, hope, and believe for his healing.
If you know Christopher, you know his heart—kind, generous, and full of life. He’s someone who shows up for others and gives without asking. Now, we’re asking for your prayers and support as he fights the most important battle of his life.
So many people have asked how they can help and encouraged us to create a GoFundMe—so we’ve done that as a result of your kindness and concern.
We had to enter an amount to create the fundraiser, but the truth is—we don’t know yet what the full financial needs will be. We are currently researching his insurance coverage, but our findings so far are causing concern.
What we do know is that any amount, big or small, will help support Chris and his family during this incredibly difficult time. We’re so grateful for anything you’re able to give.
This GoFundMe is being organized to help ease the burden on his family and ensure Christopher has what he needs to recover.
Funds will go toward:
- Support for his loved ones to be at his side during this critical time (They live over 100 miles away from the hospital)
- Support during recovery
- Loss of income and essential living costs
- Any unpaid medical expenses
Please keep Christopher in your daily prayers, and if you’re able, consider donating or sharing this page with others who may be moved to help.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
— Psalm 46:1
We are trusting in God’s plan and holding onto hope and our faith. Thank you for lifting Christopher and our family up during this time.
With love and gratitude,
Christopher's Family
