In November, I was diagnosed with both throat and lung cancer. The news turned my world upside down. Since then, I’ve had to quit my job, lost all my teeth, and undergone two bronchoscopies. Right now, I’m receiving chemo and immunotherapy, doing everything I can to fight this disease. Unfortunately, I’ve exhausted all my savings just trying to keep up with daily life and medical needs.

While my health care is covered by the VA, I’m struggling to keep up with basic living expenses. I need help covering utilities, car payments, car and home insurance, and I’ve fallen behind on my property taxes. These bills keep piling up, and it’s been overwhelming to manage them on my own while focusing on my health.

I really just need help for a few months as I plan to beat this. It would mean a great deal if some kind folks could help me even a little through this tough time. I live alone, and while my family has been wonderful, they live far away and have limited means themselves. Any support, no matter how small, would make a huge difference and help me get through this challenging chapter.
