Support Christopher McGowan through heart surgery recovery
Donation protected
My son, Christopher McGowan, is also a brother, a partner, and a father, and he has an incredibly challenging time ahead of him. In early December, he will be having surgery to replace or repair two heart valves. This process will necessitate breaking his breastbone, leaving him unable to use his arms for quite some time. He makes his living doing fine carpentry, building and remodeling homes, and will be unable to return to work for at least three months, leaving him entirely without income. His monthly expenses are hefty, and without the ability to work, he will be in danger of losing his home and livelihood. If you know Christopher, you also know what a dedicated and loving father he is to his son Ronan. It is crucially important to make sure Christopher doesn't lose the home he has made for his son. To this end, we are hoping to raise enough to support him and his family through his recovery without adding undue stress to an already stressful time.
Whatever you can contribute, whether it be money, time, driving Christopher to medical appointments, taking care of Ronan or picking him up from school, making meals to drop off, or just positive energy and healing thoughts, all will be so appreciated. We are so very grateful, and love you all. Sharing this GoFundMe with your friends on social media will be a big help, too.
