My cousin Christo and his three daughters are facing an incredibly difficult time. Christo lost his wife early last year, and since then, life has been a constant struggle. In October 2025, he suffered a stroke and underwent multiple serious stomach surgeries. His recovery has been slow and challenging, and the family’s situation has only become more desperate. They’ve lost their car, and Christo has even resorted to selling his colostomy bags just to keep his daughters in school and a roof over their heads.
Christo is not a drug addict or alcoholic—he’s a hardworking father who has always done his best to provide for his family. He still lives in our hometown of Sasolburg and has worked at the coal mine for years. Now, with mounting medical bills and daily expenses, he’s struggling to keep up. His daughters, aged 10, 12, and 18, need stability and support more than ever.
The funds raised will go directly toward rent, electricity, telephone, utilities, school expenses, and medical costs. My hope is to keep Christo and his girls safe, together, and supported for at least the next few months while he recovers and tries to get back on his feet. Even a small donation can make a big difference for this family. If you’re able to help, please know that your kindness is deeply appreciated.
