Support the Creation of my Christmas EP

If you know me, you know that I am a singer and music has always been an integral part of my life. From church choirs as a kid to a cappella ensemble in high school, college, and beyond, to professional musical theatre, I live a life of music. If you really know me, you know my favorite genre of music is Christmas music. I have a Holifavorites playlist that is over 100 songs long and I start listening to it in July.

I've always dreamed of recording an album, and my love for holiday music has inspired me to create something truly special—my very own Christmas EP! This project is a labor of love, and I’m excited to feature a mix of classic holiday tunes and an original festive song that I’ll be writing just for this album. To make this dream a reality, I’m raising funds over the next couple of months to cover the costs of studio time, engineers, and production. From the research I've done recording, mixing, and producing an extended play or album can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000. My hope is that through this fundraiser, I can offset the cost of creating this EP so I can share my love of music and my gift of singing with a wider audience. Here is a breakdown of some of the costs associated with producing an EP:

Studio time:

This can range from $50 to $150 per hour depending on the studio and location.

Production costs:

Includes fees for producers, musicians, and engineers, which can vary based on the complexity of the arrangements and the number of tracks.

Mastering:

The process of finalizing the audio for distribution, typically costing between $500 and $2,000.

Album artwork and design:

Costs for graphic design services to create the album cover and packaging.

Promotion and marketing:

Expenses for digital distribution, music video production, social media advertising, and press outreach.

I'm hoping that not only can I produce this album for streaming services, but I can also distribute a physical CD or even a vinyl!
