My name is Christine. I'm a 56 yr old woman and live in NY State in the US.

I recently had surgery to remove a parathyroid gland with an Adenoma (benign tumor) that was causing excessive Calcium in my body. During that time, they found a suspicious lymph node on my Thyroid and it was biopsied. It was then that I got the devastating news that I have Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. Need less to say, I am beside myself.

I have no savings and was on short term disability for the first surgery, which I am still recovering from. And in a few months time, I have another surgery looming to remove my Thyroid completely. This will tax me financially to say the least.

Im asking for help to raise money so that I can be able to pay my rent and other bills while recovering from this surgery. I want to also try to purchase an adjustable bed frame to help with recovery since last surgery i was sleeping on my recliner.
