Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

We are starting this fund in honor of our beloved mother, Christine Bova.

For nearly five years, our mom has courageously fought Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma—an incredibly rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer. On June 16, 2025, we received the devastating news that her doctors have deemed her condition terminal, and she has since been placed under hospice care.

If you know Christine, you know that she is the heart of our family—and to so many others. She is selfless, compassionate, and full of unwavering love. No matter her own struggles—financial, emotional, or otherwise—she has always given of herself completely. Whether it was her time, a listening ear, or even the shirt off her back, she gave without hesitation and without expectation. Her life has been a living example of kindness and generosity, inspiring everyone around her to live with open hands and open hearts.

Her final wish is simple but profound: to be surrounded by the people she loves most. To spend these precious days in the comfort of her home, held by the warmth of family. John Bova, her devoted husband, has taken an unpaid leave from work to become her full-time caregiver during this tender time. While we cannot take away the pain of what’s happening, we hope to ease the financial burden that comes with it—so that they can focus fully on what truly matters: love, peace, and togetherness.
