Support Christine's Battle Against Ovarian Cancer

My name is Christine, In 2008 at the age of 47 I was diagnosed with endometriosis which led to a hysterectomy. During that surgery I was left with one ovary.
Fast forward now to October 1st, 2024 at the age of 64.
On October 1st I went to my Dr. and he did some tests, on October 3rd I was diagnosed with an Ovarian Tumor the size of a softball. The tumor had attached itself to the lower part of my colon. I was sent to a specialist and on October 7th I had surgery to remove the tumor and the lower part of my colon. I am very glad they got me in so quick. The Cancer was contained in the Tumor but the Dr. is optimistic and still wants to do the Chemo just to be on the safe side.
I will have to have 6 rounds of Chemotherapy and without Insurance it will be hard to pay for these treatments and the rest of my medical bills coming in. I am having a hard time getting Medicaid and I have contacted the American Cancer Society Ovarian Treatment Fund for help but they are unable to help at this time.
I still have a long road ahead of me and is scares me to no end doing Chemo. I am just praying that the cancer cells stayed within the tumor.
I thank you for listening to my story and any help would be greatly appreciated.
