Support Christine On Her Road To Recovery

Donation protected
On September 25th, we took Christine to the ER with concerns about her motor function and memory. What we were expecting to be an in and out visit turned into a lengthy hospital stay and a very unexpected diagnosis.

After being rushed to Hamilton General Hospital for 2 major surgeries, Christine is currently in the ICU recovering from a Dural Arteriovenous Fistula of the brain. In Christine's case, this rare abnormal connection between blood vessels caused major pressure on her brain that affected her memory, speech and motor function.

We are still uncertain about what the future holds for Christine, or what long term damage this has caused, but what we do know is that her recovery will be long, and she may not be able to return to a "normal" life for a very long time—if at all.

As many of us understand, loosing a household income can be detrimental in today's economy and the last thing we want is for Fred and Christine to have to worry about their finances right now. Their focus should be on healing and recovery.

We are hoping these funds will help lessen the burden on Fred and allow him to spend more time with Christine, to pay for full time PSW care and anything else that may come up while Christine is in Hamilton recovering.

Thank you everyone for your ongoing support and your messages checking in on Christine, Fred and their family. Please continue to keep Christine in your thoughts and prayers.
