Help support Christine and Elaine from car theft

Hello Friends and Family,

I have set up this GoFundMe because this weekend my only working vehicle was stolen and totaled. I am a working single mom and it's my only means of transportation.

Right now, my car can be picked up, but I have an impound fee of $307, towing cost of $126, and I am not sure if there is a fee to have it recycled. Also, every day that I leave it in impound, I am accumulating a cost.

I don’t know what exactly I will need to get by right now, but I will need help for these fees or added fees as it sits there. I am setting a tentative small goal of $2000 to pay the fees to get my car out of impound, towed, and recycled, and some extra in case I have to cab, bus, or set up a Lyft or Uber to get my daughter Elaine to child care and then myself to work and transportation from work when necessary.
