My name is Deborah. My sister Christina owns a local food truck in town. She is an incredibly hard worker and puts her business, the community, and her daughter above herself all the time.

My sister was setting up for the Fruita Fall Festival when a fluke accident happened. As she was taking the trailer off her hitch, the trailer broke the cinder block, rolled over the chocks, and slammed her leg between the 5-ton trailer and her truck. She laid there for about 3-5 minutes before the amazing people around her were able to help move the trailer just enough for Christina to shimmy out.

She does not have insurance and will be out of commission due to her shattered kneecap. She has already had surgery placing pins in her leg. Her next surgery will be to put in a new kneecap.
