Help Us Bring Back Her Smile
In January 2025, our beloved friend Christina was rushed to the ICU in critical condition after a medical emergency where she experienced multiple seizures. She was intubated, placed on life support, and spent two weeks in the hospital—one of them in a coma.

While she remembers none of those harrowing weeks, her friends and family will never forget seeing her in that hospital bed—unresponsive, fragile, but somehow still fighting.

We remember the machines, the tubes, the stillness, and the uncertainty. We remember the heartbreak in her parents’ eyes, her brother standing guard to protect her, and her best friend refusing to leave her side. Her son, who she raised as a single mother and who she is incredibly close to, feared the unimaginable. Her then-boyfriend held her hand and sang Elvis’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Her friends gave her a spa day right there in the hospital bed just to bring a moment of joy back into the room.

She fought her way back from the brink. Every organ was failing, yet she survived.
But during the intubation process, two of her teeth were severely damaged—knocked out completely. The hospital and insurance refused to cover the cost.

We are asking for help to “Bring Back Her Smile.”

After an incredibly difficult road to recovery, Christina is finally strong enough to begin the next phase of healing: rebuilding her life—and her smile. But she’s doing it while carrying enormous financial weight and guilt for what this crisis put her loved ones through. But we see her trying every day—not just to survive, but to live fully. She’s choosing hope. And we want to help her keep choosing it.

Every dollar you give will go directly toward her dental reconstruction and medical debt that followed her ICU stay.
She now faces $20,000 in costs just to replace the two teeth that were knocked out during her intubation. Dental implants are not just cosmetic—they’re essential for her to eat, speak, and feel confident again. The cost breakdown is as follows:

  • $2,000: Medical bills
  • $1,800: Dental bills charged so far
  • $16,000: Dental bills still to come

If you’re able to contribute, any amount is deeply appreciated. And if you can’t, sharing this with someone who might be able to is just as meaningful. We miss her smile and want to help lift just a piece of the weight off her shoulders.

Thank you for loving her. For standing by her. For helping carry her when she couldn’t walk alone. She is still healing—but she’s here. And she’s still fighting.
Let’s help her keep going.
With love and gratitude,
Crystal
