Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds for Christina, who is 33 years old and was diagnosed with a Grade 3 astrocytoma in December 2025. In late December, she underwent brain surgery, and since then she has completed her first round of chemotherapy and radiation. She is now beginning a year-long course of chemotherapy.

Christina recently achieved a major milestone in her life, graduating with her PhD in marine biology from the University of Oregon last May. She is brilliant, resilient, and deeply loved, and she has always poured herself into her work and the people around her.

Right now, Christina is unable to work as she focuses on treatment, recovery, and getting through this next difficult chapter. The funds raised here will go directly to her family to help cover basic living expenses during this time, including rent, groceries, transportation, and other day-to-day needs. If enough support is raised, it will also help her with small comforts that bring light into hard days, like flowers and art supplies.
