Hello everyone,

My name is Alesia, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Christina, who is facing a challenging and uncertain time. Christina has always been a source of strength and inspiration to those around her, but she is now in need of support as she navigates a new chapter in her health journey.

Christina’s Journey

Christina is a mother of 3 school-aged children and recently graduated from Dominican University (she even made the local news for this milestone!), an incredible achievement that came after her first round of health struggles. Despite her perseverance and determination, she has found herself facing a difficult job market this summer, making it challenging to secure stable employment.

As if this wasn't enough, Christina has recently been diagnosed with new medical conditions that require ongoing treatment. She is currently waiting to meet with specialists who can help manage these conditions, but she may need another surgery, which we will know after the next round of tests and MRI scans have been done.

The Current Situation

Christina's temporary disability claim has been exhausted, and with her health limitations, finding a job that accommodates her needs has proven difficult. Despite these challenges, she remains determined to find a solution for herself and her 3 children.

Christina has been knocking on the doors of tons of local non-profits, and applying and doing the footwork to make ends meet.

With mounting bills and daily living expenses, Christina is in urgent need of support to help her and her family get by during this difficult time. Your generosity can make a significant difference, providing Christina with the resources she needs to focus on her health and her family.

Living Expenses: Assisting with rent, utilities, and groceries for Christina and her 3 children. Ensuring her kids have the support they need during this challenging period.

Work Opportunities: Additionally, should you or someone you know of, know of opportunities of work she can do from home such as some admin work, or anything of the like, please reach out. She is looking for contractor work and most importantly something that is not physically taxing on the body.
