Hi everyone,

My name is Breanna, and our beloved Mom, Christina Purdy, was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure last year. Recently, on her birthday, April 24, 2026, Mom had to be emergency flown to Multicare Deaconess Spokane Hospital for urgent heart valve replacement surgery.

Unfortunately, she faced some serious complications after the open-heart surgery, leading to organ failure and the need for a ventilator. She's now in the ICU, bravely fighting through dialysis treatment. The doctors are hopeful, but she has a long and challenging recovery ahead.

Our family has been by her side, offering our love and support, and praying for her strength. We're facing significant expenses with hotels, gas, food, and lost work time. And there will be ongoing costs for specialist follow-ups in Spokane, Yakima, and her hometown of Sunnyside, as well as the unknowns of dialysis treatments, doctor visits, and new medications.

Mom is such a strong and cherished woman—a loving wife, daughter, aunt, niece, friend, and, most importantly a wonderful grandma.
